Do not let the world press you into its mold, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you may prove in practice that God's will is good, pleasing, and perfect. ~ Romans 12:2
This spring, three adult Sunday School classes provide opportunities for us to follow this command and flourish as disciples of Jesus.
- Topical Study on "Practicing Church"
Co-led by Jonathan Wilson and Winston Pratt. (Watson Room)
- Great Characters of the Bible
Each character will be presented by a different volunteer teacher from the church. Moderated by Paul Birch and Judy Koren. (Library)
- Book Study: Mark, designed for people with limited English
Taught by Margaret Birch. (Located in the classroom at the west end of the church near the back door.)
- Welcome Class
4 weeks designed to inform, challenge, inspire, and offer the WELCOME OF JESUS!
Check out the WELCOME CLASS for more information.
Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. ~ Matthew 18:20
On Sundays mornings, we gather as the People of God to meet with Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Through song, prayer, reading of the Word, and celebration at the Table, we worship the God who made us, redeemed us, and calls us to participate with him as co-creators.
During the Service
- Nursery Care is provided for children ages 0-2 years old.
- Children ages 3 through grade 5 worship and learn Bible stories in a nurturing environment.
- Youth grades 6 - 12 journey through the Bible.
A great tradition in our church life is sharing a ‘cuppa’ after the worship service. This time is a regular opportunity to enjoy one another in a casual and conversational environment. New relationships can be formed and old relationships deepened through our fellowship time. Other fellowship opportunities happen throughout the week.
