"It is in groups that the reality of Christians loving and caring for each other can take place naturally. Of the early Christians who spent time in house churches and shared love in tangible ways, Tertullian said, 'Behold how they love one another.' The distinctions of Christianity are displayed in groups." (Julie Gorman)
An important aspect in the life of West Point Grey Baptist is our network of Home Groups. Meeting in homes and at the church at various times throughout the week, these groups come together to pray, study and share life together, and are an excellent way to grow in faith and to get to know other members of our church family. Most groups start mid-September and continue to May or June. We have several new groups beginning each September and throughout the year as needed. Students are welcome! We celebrate multi-generational home groups that bring the texture and richness of integrating students with seniors, singles with married, and families.

The intention of Home groups is:
Nurturing Care of each other Small groups is a safe space to share what is going on in your life and in the lives of those in your group- and to be supported with prayer!
Nurturing Accountability Nothing is as beautiful or challenging as being held accountible for living out what you talk about.
Nurturing Authentic Spirituality Having the opportunity to ask questions, wrestle with deeper spiritual truths, and integrate them into day-to-day life is the joy of being in a small group. Keep it real!
