Our Next SERVE Project

What is SERVE?

SERVE is a monthly service project (normally on a Saturday) in which the Kurios Youth will have the opportunity to participate. This may include things such as volunteering at the A Rocha field study centre, painting at the church, working at the food bank, collecting trash in our neighborhood, or serving in the downtown eastside.

Why should you come to SERVE?

Serving together is a fantastic way to put into practice the truth learned at both CRAVE and REFUGE. When you live out what you believe you are showing your commitment to God’s two greatest commandments: to love God and love others.

What the Bible has to say about SERVING:

"What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if people claim to have faith but have no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." - James 2:14-17
