         Goodbye January!!! Hello February!!!  The spring semester is almost a month old now and I am sure many of you are ready for a break.  That is why this weekend's Winter Retreat is coming at just the right time.  In just a few short days many of us will be heading to Hope for an amazing weekend together.
         Here are more retreat details and other things to be aware of in the life of our youth ministry:

Relationships Remixed Winter Retreat - This Friday!!!  

        We will be meeting at 4:00pm at WPGBC on Friday.  If there is anything on the packing list that you need to borrow (like a sleeping bag) please email me soon and I will make sure that you get it.  All of the retreat info can be found at www.kurios.ca (including a packing list) ***A few a you have not yet paid...please remember to bring your payment with you on Friday (cash or a check made out to West Point Grey Baptist Church)

REFUGE - Sugar Coated Lies Series Concludes this Week

       This Tuesday night from 7:00-9:00pm at WPGBC we will be finishing up our amazing "Sugar Coated Lies" series by looking at the greatest lie of all:  I Can Save Myself.  You won't want to miss this incredible evening.  Friends are always welcome...who will you invite?

No Floor Hockey this Week

      Because of the Winter Retreat drop-in floor hockey has been moved from this Friday to Friday, February 10 from 7:00-10:00pm.

Spring Break Mission Trip

      Soak up the Son   We are taking a 9 day trip to Northern California to help build a house with Habitat for Humanity from March 17-25.  This trip is only for youth age 16 and older.  All of the trip info is available at www.kurios.ca/serve/suts  Brochures are also available on the youth bulletin board at WPGBC.
